    I think all succulents just grow slowly. They can also go dormant, though i’m not sure it’s all succulents.

    A smaller pot would help, it is likely putting so much energy toward root growth to fill out the pot that it may be slowing down leaf growth. This will also help the pot dry out faster as to avoid root rot or sitting moisture.
    Regardless, they grow slow, and sometimes in phases as they go through dormancy.
    Lastly, what potting soil are you using? That substrate looks pretty muddy to me, a good succulent potting mix is what this plant loves.

    Let all the soil dry out all through the pot, wait a week.and then water

    I don’t think that’s a jade. It’s very similar though.
