My understanding is this is normal and hasn’t killed the grass.

Tenacity turns weeds white because it stops chlorophyll, that’s how it kills them
RojoandWhite
The top third is dead; but, will it work its way down (eventually to the root?) 11 days since applying with surfactant.
Sorry if this is a noob question!

I’ve seen too much of the latter. Be interesting to see a 2 week followup.

That’s nimblewill. Buy some Ornamec 170 and triclopyr ester. .75 oz each with .5 oz of surfactant (baby shampoo) per gallon of water and spray. The nimblewill will fry!
In my experience you will need at least another application or two. It will be dead when the whole plant is brown and withered
Turfmade
Tenacity is great stuff, its gonna turn it white. I wouldny spray the high label rate on actively growing turf ex; bermuda zoysia…

To be honest most time tenacity takes 2-3 applications. It only on the least cost effective post emergents out there.
PhPhun8
Fuck nimblewill
T-Bird19
I’m killing bent grass and crabgrass with it so I can reseed at the end of aug/ start of sept. On the label it says bent grass needs three applications a couple weeks apart. Maybe double check label for whatever you’re killing.
I also need to gly and dig up my dallisgrass and clumping fescue.
