I removed an old shed in my garden yesterday and the Leylandii has gone brown behind through not having any direct sunlight. The growth above looks healthy. What should I do about the old brown areas? Will they recover? Just to add, I ended up cutting mine down as I found it too unsightly in the end. fantomas_ 3 months ago No. That_Touch5280 3 months ago Trim off the dead growth and you will be able to live with it! If you can’t afford to replace with something nicer, you can grow ivy across it. LaraH39 3 months ago Fortunately not. Cerebral_Overload 3 months ago Nope, sorry. Might be time to rip them out and replace with something more suitable.
