TEXARKANA, Texas. (KTAL/KMSS) — Texas A&M University-Texarkana and the Bowie County Master Gardeners will present “Gardening for Wildlife” on Monday, August 11, from 6 to 8 p.m. in Room 326 of the University Center Building.

Penny Wilkerson of the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department will lead the free, public program. No reservations are required.

The presentation will focus on creating landscapes that support wildlife as natural habitats decline. Wilkerson will discuss how home and commercial properties can provide refuge for butterflies, songbirds, and other species through thoughtful planning and preparation.
