hi! Is my begonia getting too much light?

The problem: leaves becoming pale/ thin/floppy&crispy. they also seem to be from lower parts of the stalk

extra info: new growth is bright red and good for a while then it turns pale and crispy around the edges while floppy in the middle

southern window gets lots of light all day
(i just moved it, it used to be right up against the window)

potted in orchid bark, perlite, and soil- very chunky and well draining.

had fungus gnats& treated with bonide ~3 months ago

gets fertilizer every so often ( have fertilized twice before, a while apart) (when i fertilize it I just shake some granules out, not measured but not a lot)

it gets less droopy when I water it i think (~once a week in the summer) but it is still getting worse.

for reference i do have a second one that is on the right that has just stayed very green but is not dropping leaves

it is pushing out growth a lot, and is one of my favorite plants so any advice is so greatly appreciated, thank you in advance for anyone reading this!
