The Junkbot is one of the new pets added to Grow a Garden in the Kitchen Storm event.

The Junkbot was released in this update and granted to players in the Albert admin abuse event that preceded the event’s launch. You might be on a quest to collect all of the pets, but the Junkbot in particular is not only rare but also has a unique trait with a rare mutation to go alongside it.

Junkbot
Tier: Mythical
Obtainable: No
Hunger: 10,101
Trait: OIL OR BOIL – can apply the Oil mutation.

How to get the Junkbot

To get the Junkbot, you’ll need to have taken part in the Albert admin abuse event.

Before the launch of the Kitchen Storm event, Albert joined Jandel for lots of admin abuse, spanning multiple weather events at once alongside entirely new events such as the Junkbot Raid and Oil Rain.

If you were a part of this event, you should have this pet waiting in your inventory, but if not, there’s currently no other way to obtain it.

You’ll want to keep an eye on future events like this, beginning at 2pm BST, and it’s possible you can net other rewards like this one. Outside of that however, it’s entirely possible the pet will be earnable from another source at some point in the future.

Junkbot traits

The Junkbot has the trait OIL OR BOIL, granting it the ability to periodically apply the Oil mutation to nearby fruit.

Not only is the pet itself rare, but with this mutation only showing up as part of the Oil Rain weather event, this makes crops with the mutation rather rare.
