Basically did this over 2 or 3 years with not very much resource, just lots of begging, stealing (not really) and borrowing anything I could build stuff out of, searching for bargains on FB marketplace etc.
Plant wise, lots of seed growing and cutting. To be fair, there were established plants here already, but in a bit of a sorry state (like the grapevine, which yes, I know needs de leaved – that's this afternoon's job!) so I spent ages tending them back to some sort of health.
Not the easiest way to go about it, but I'm pretty proud of the results, especially considering I had no prior experience!
