West Midlands Police have released a CCTV appeal after a Birmingham pensioner was left injured in a robbery.
The robbery, which unfolded in Kitts Green, occurred after a man was allowed into a woman’s home allegedly “pretending to be a gardener” said the force.
Officers said the woman’s arm was injured in the incident.

West Midlands Police said they are in contact with the injured woman as a “thorough investigation” gets underway.
The incident happened just before midday on July 21, and police have urged members of the public to get in touch with any information that may help officers.
A CCTV image has been issued of a man in a dark top, jeans and carrying what appears to be a yellow shopping bag.

A West Midlands Police spokesperson said on August 7: “Recognise this man? We’d like to speak to him after a woman, aged 90, was hurt in a robbery in Birmingham.
“It happened in the Kitts Green area just before midday on Monday 21 July.
“A man was allowed into the woman’s home after pretending to be her gardener.
“Once inside, the house was searched and the woman’s handbag and some paperwork were stolen.
“Sadly, the woman suffered an injury to her arm as the man left the house.
“We’re in contact with the woman and her family, and we’re carrying out a thorough investigation including a review of CCTV around the area.
