I got this plant a little over two weeks ago and I am not sure what is causing this I have a grow lamp as I don’t have direct sunlight from the window which I run for 4 hours daily I water it every week

    I’m by no means an expert, but I would ASSUME that this is a fungal infection, it can spread from plant to plant, or from overwatering. Me being an amateur, I chop the affected area off with clean scissors, or remove the whole leaf to try and prevent further spread.

    You should run your grow light for at least 12 hours if you don’t have direct light. You’re seeing the result of over watering, which in your case, just means your plant isn’t getting enough light to suck up all the water in the pot. Light is what draws the water into the plant. It gets that xylem and phloem doing their thing! Watering less frequently isn’t the answer here; it’s more light. Hope this helps!
