Please help! My arborvitae is shedding on one side. Any idea what could be causing this as well as a remedy? The ground below is covered. My other 3 in the same bed aren't doing this. I live in zone 7b if that helps. Thanks!
I had the same issue with mine. I foot was lacking some type of nutrient. I ordered DrJimZ Tree Secret. Amazing results. drjimz.com.

Check the bark for fungus. Where I live it’s common for them to get “holes” in the foliage due to a certain fungus. Might be too late for granular fungicide. Need to spray. Check first though

Planted 20 of these and to me it looks like it needs water. These drink a lot of water because of their shallow roots. Please also note depending on the year or fall, losing needles is perfectly normal for Arbs.
