I’ve attached a picture of it’s current state and how it used to look. I’m watering more frequently now as i did neglect it for some time. Watering basically every other day for like 15 mins
Are there any products i should buy to help the process of getting it back to its original state?

Are you watering enough?
Cut it all the way down as low as you can get it, preferably, a half inch if possible. Buy some starter fertilizer and apply that and a light spray of weed killer. Move your watering to once a day for 15 minutes (preferably in the morning early) and let it get about an inch or inch and half high (assuming you can cut it down to within a half inch of the dirt) before cutting it again.
Depending on the grass, don’t let it get longer than two and half to three inches long.
