Hey guys

I feel like I made a huge mistake
I own Dartfrogs since a few month ago and I wanted to give them a treat.
I decided on adding a few house crickets and tried to carefully open the container inside their Viv…. I failed and alot of the crickets spilled. It's a big Viv (400L/ 100gal) but it's about 25 crickets in there. Worst of all, my frogs are scared of them and don't even try to eat some as far as I can tell.
I build a trap with bread, sugar and beer but I am happy for any suggestions on how to Atleast lower the population

Can’t help but can offer my sincere sympathy.

My cat ripped off the mesh off my roaches bin in the night and now I have roaches all over the house

The cat will be roasted for lunch

Oh I’m so sorry. Crickets are the worst and are so hard to get rid of honestly. Maybe you could take the frogs out to get them all? And a deep clean just in case lol

Why is there a force ghost in your enclosure?

the fact the frogs are scared of them . leads me to think thats the cricket mafia. and they dont want no beef.

Perhaps a minnow trap from a PET bottle?
You can also go the radical route and remove the frogs to co2 bomb the tank with dry ice (led into the tank via a long hose, or risking freezer burning the plants).

Not really sure what to do but have you heard of the Legend of Vax Machina? They might be able to help:)
