Howbery Park in Wallingford is the new home of the special garden which was designed to show how even urban gardens can help reduce flood risks while creating beautiful outdoor spaces.
Created in collaboration between flood insurance business Flood Re, environmental expert Dr Ed Barsley and garden designer Naomi Slade, the garden first debuted at the 2024 Chelsea Show where it won a silver medal.

Now it has come to Wallingford permanently with free public access at the Howbery Park site, owned by HR Wallingford.

Sponsored by Flood Re, the garden project hopes to promote the urgent need for flood mitigation in the UK, where one in four homes face the risk of flooding.
