Hey there I have been so curious on what this was growing on my bush. I can’t seem to describe it well enough into to google haha.

    When we were kids, these were on all the shrubs planted in my grandparents cemetery. They were the forbidden olives, lol.

    We knew not to eat them but entertained ourselves bombing our sibs with them!

    It’s a berry on a yew bush ….. strange growth 🤣

    Yew berry. The big seed on the inside is deadly poisonous, although the red fleshy aril on the outside is technically sweet and edible.

    Yew aril, is a berry like fruiting body. The flesh is edible but the seed and every other part of the plant is poisonous.
