Never posted in this sub before, so apologies in advance if I mess up or don’t tag something correctly!

Spent today doing some plant maintenance and genuinely have no idea if my air plant is still alive. A lot of the green leaves(?) have brown tips, and are pretty limp, but they ARE green… Is this something I can bring back?

Any help would be appreciated! TvT’

It’s sad, but it’s alive. I’d give it a soak for a couple of hours and a squirt of foliar fertiliser if you have it.

    She’s alive! Just very dehydrated.
If you have some rain water sitting around or mineral water let it soak in a bowl for an hour or so(during daylight). If you only have chlorinated tap water you will have to let a jug of that sit out for a few hours or overnight so the chlorine can dissipate and then you can soak.

I would fertilize only after the plant has been thoroughly hydrated and this may take a couple soaks over the following weeks. Any plant that is stressed should not get fertilized until it is back to good health as it could further weaken the plant(this applies to all plants not just Tillandsia).

After soaking put her in a spot that receives indirect sunlight. The brown tips won’t become green again and my preference is to leave them be, along with the brown leaves at the base.
