This guy popped up on my second story balcony garden (central Nebraska, zone 5b). 99% sure it’s eastern nightshade, any thoughts? The carrots and onions in the same container are growing well if that gives any clue

    That’s nightshade. Looks like solanum americanum, common nightshade

    Eastern black nightshade, Solanum emulans. Native species. Safe to grow with your other plants. Great to have around for birds and pollinators.
