Let’s start 2025 at Japanese Garden Bristol

[Music] [Applause] [Music] hello and welcome to Japanese Garden Bristol okay I’m coming back for 2025 on YouTube um I know I’ve been away for a while now um the last time I was on was um properly was last winter cuz I come on every winter because um that’s when I do my jobs uh for the garden and I have finished all my jobs more or less for this winter and I’ve recorded them so I’m going to be putting them up on my YouTube channel at 5:30 every Friday and I will hopefully continue that throughout the year with all new stuff that’s going on here as well um because lately I’ve been uh getting into Bonsai um 2024 has been a really big year for me um go explain a few things here and as you might know my gard’s been many places uh over the um past three four years and uh in 2024 um had quite a bit of more um attention from the TV and the magazines and stuff like that so um back in February I had ITX um um they come done a nice walk around the Garden in a chat I done an article on chat magazine um I’ve uh we had the year before I had an interview with um Japan Supreme Master TV um and I had the interview they come here done the interview and then that was it for a year and I thought was just gone but then they contacted me and said it’s going up um it’s on their uh in uh well I think it’s a YouTube channel actually um so then I had it to come back again uh they’ve done a spring walk and they do some really nice footage of Marden so um if you’re interested in any of these they’re all on my website just go on my website Japanese Garden Bristol scroll down through and you’ll come across um all me interviews I think there was about 17 interviews or something like that um there’s nice surpris the um cor company uh called um chili tribe records coming down a video in my garden is really good I I like it they’re on YouTube if I look them up and uh my videos U my Garden’s on there not me but my garden and um if you want to see that one that’s on my website as well so anything in the past all these um interviews I’ve had in the past are all on my website apart from one or two that I wasn’t allowed to because of copyrights so that’s what I’ve been doing in 2024 with that um I can believe I had more attention from the the media and stuff like that which was absolutely fantastic um I didn’t get nothing from National papers I wasn’t expecting to because I had uh I think four times in three years uh I was on the national papers so that was absolutely fantastic I mean it’s at its time I expect and that’s it um as you might know if you seen my video the other week I put up it’s um I’ve been invited to Japan to do a documentary um that is uh meant to be for a week of filming I don’t know if it’s going to happen um we’ll see I not olding out for it it just what happens it happens if it don’t don’t because with TV stuff things changes and uh it doesn’t happen so um if it does that’ll be great I’ll be going to Japan do a um documentary on them show me how it’s all done in Japan which would be absolutely fantastic so fingers cross that will happen um so that’ll be coming up in 25 hopefully um I am off to Japan in March April time and I will be doing lives on my Facebook so um if you want to uh see how I’m getting on in Japan uh they do I’ll be put on there but I’ll also do some videos that go on my YouTube as well um so yes it’s uh it’s all going on but also the other thing I’ve done last year was start selling Bonsai um so now I sell Bonsai um I’m just kiing out the garage all the gear um so you’ll be able to get pots on me bons eyes um my plaques as you might know I do new plaques been doing plaques I’ve been doing plats for probably like over 10 years it’s well over 10 years I know people’s Copa and gone off and selling them and stuff like that I do this style now um I keep changing to a different style but I’m I’m happy with this style now um the burnt effect I’m also um making monkey poles so um there a be Bonsai I’ll be um selling loads of different style Bonsai throughout the year um so if you’re ever interested in Bonsai um collection only unfortunately in Bristol the UK um and then I’m making these um monkey poles um there’s three I say there’s three Styles there’s three uh different sizes and um so if you want to know more about them uh contact me you could go on my website um you can contact me on here actually or you can go on my website I might be able to post them if you’re willing to pay the postage um so yeah I’ll do my plaques my normal plats as you can see up here and uh I’ll be covering everything I’ll be doing wire I got set up for load of wire so I’ll be having wires delivered I got soil all soils all your um Japanese soil for your bons eyes I got all there all your mixes I do it all there got your feed for your bons eyes um so yeah I’m I’m getting an Orit toate for all these things so if you visit my garden you’ll be able to buy a bonsai or or a monkey pole the monkey poles will have uh grain fixing come with it I’m not going to say what it is but it there will be a grain fixing so you can fix it to the ground so don’t worry about that they’re not just going to be stood like that where the wind can just topple them over they have got a grin fix in okay so uh they will be uh they are secure okay so that’s what to be going on with me in a 2024 um oh someone else I’ve been recently doing is making these ladles and rests um looks really good they could go on the ground um put a spoon on it if you want to put nothing on it or put something on it whatever you want I am selling these as well I’m making them myself I do that one that’s a grand rest this is a water rest this will go across your water basin okay and then you cup a rest on it like that um look really good looks good I’ve made some for my garden and um cuz mine they split um the cuts split badly on mine so these uh these ones are made of wood and hopefully they last longer um but yeah great little feature for the garden so I’m making them as well now um so yeah lot going on in 2024 and now we’re going now we’re in 2025 I decided to go back into my YouTube and hopefully help you create a Japanese Garden or Japanese style Garden like mine um you see the places it’s gone um all because I worked hard on creating this garden and um it’s taken me by surprise uh the amount of people they want to see it um and are interested in it really has um taking on a journey I would never have expected so anyway like I said I’m back every Friday at 5:30 starting with all my winter projects and then as we go on through the summer I will give a lot more out about how to create a Japanese garden and um how to look after it more on Bonsai or more on my koi um plenty of things to cover so I’m going to try to keep that going through the year now so um welcome back hopefully you’ve watched some of my previous videos um I got over a 100 on there um so if you haven’t maybe uh go and have a look at them and see what I
