This white powder/clumps are forming on some of my plants and I have used a baking soda mixture spray but I'm concerned it's not helping. Any ideas/suggestions on what is happening and how to help my plant babies? 😭

Isolate ASAP! Looks like Mealy Bugs to me and they wiped out half my indoor garden once. Killed every one of my orchids 🙁

Definitely mealie bugs. If you’re in the US the best bet is to use bonide systemic. You can also spray it with rubbing alcohol every 3-4 days.

Rinse it with water, if they keep coming back replace the dirt and soak the root ball before you repot.
The mites hate humidity so if you live in the south put it outside for a while.

Washing them off with the sink sprayer works just as well as any of the multiple expensive sprays I have tried, but they do get in the dirt and they have a reproductive cycle like fleas so you have to stay on top of it and replace the dirt if you can’t get rid of them just treating the plant.
