I’ve started some alyssum inside and it’s sprouting well so far, but these showed up almost overnight. Should I be worried? I know they’re mushrooms but I can’t tell what they are exactly. Because it’s so hot outside I’ve been getting these started inside and kind of slowly with indirect light from this window (never gets direct light) and watering sparingly to get some good roots established without strangling the poor things.

I’m not entirely positive, but I have seen a lot of comments where mushrooms are not necessarily bad. It may mean to slow down on the watering though.
Mushrooms aren’t necessarily a bad sign, in fact they often mean you have nice, rich soil. However, they can also mean the soil is staying wet too long so that’s something to watch out for.
Looks cool
That is what we in the bizz like to call mushrooms.
