So I’ve notoriously had a brown thumb growing up but I’ve been doing good with snake plants and a frizzle sizzle so thought I’d try out a spider plant. Got her a few days back and just noticed these roots coming out the bottom and all the tips are going brown… what do I do 😭 I haven’t watered her bc the soil was still damn and she’s has indirect light

Probably a good idea to repot and give it a good watering. If the soil was still damp when you got it, amend it with some perlite or well draining soil mix when you repot.
Tips on spider plants go brown easily. Some say inconsistent watering and others believe it’s the tap water that has chlorine, chloramine and fluoride that cause the brown tips. Water only when completely dry, they have thick roots that store water. Try using filtered, rain, or distilled water.
The brown tips is pretty normal for spider plants
I agree it should be repoted.
Note: I had the tips on mine browning and switched from tap water to distilled water since I read they are quite sensitive to the chlorine and fluoride added to tap water. You can also use rainwater.
Bigger pot and use bottled water for it. Tap water was damaging my partner’s Spider plant as well even though it was growing well, th tips were all browning. We switched to bottled water and tips stopped browning. Roots growing at the bottom typically means it’s time to increase the pot size by a bit.
