The roses are back! So is the borage. Tomatoes and blueberries have had a good go at it. Courgettes have given me many small offerings – I think planting 2 courgettes, a tomato and a kiwi within 30cm2 was not my brightest ideas, but I don’t have much space… the yarrow and rocket and mint and Thai basil are being loved by the pollinators. Lots of hover flies, bees and blue:green flies. Ther herbs are doing great except the marjoram because I planted it under the blueberry bush… still not kiwis, hoping next year will bring some (year 3 of the balcony garden).
