I bought two plants (Rubber and Snake Plant) today from nursery and planted in plastic pots .
Watered thoroughly and added vermi compost and neem khali in soil mix.
Loosen roots before planting because of clay like soil.
What should I take in mind for best growth of these newbies…
I will place rubber plant inside main entrance of house(east facing) with bright light will get some 1-2 hrs of direct sunlight too and fresh air throughout the day and night
Where should I put the snake plant.

Hello, in my opinion you already did a good job for the rubber plant. In my experience it needs a looooot of light to thrive so maybe if you find a sunnier spot is better đ for the snake plant… in my experience, it grows everywhere đ€Ł thrives with sunlight of course, but i have that plant in the darkest spots, and still goes on no problem
Put the snake plant next to the rubber tree. That shit can take the full force of the sun and not bat an eye.
Youâre going to get root rot if you donât repot both plants.
Using a utility bucket and a garden scooper or an ice scoopâŠ
* 1/2 scoop of cactus soil
* 1/2 scoop worm castings (optional, but good for nutrients)
* 1/2 scoop of compost (optional, but good for nutrients)
* 2 scoops perlite
* 2 scoops horticultural charcoal
* 2 scoops orchid bark
Mix it all up, and you want to get the impression of, âthatâs chunkyâ If you donât get that impression, add another scoop of charcoal and perlite.
