This is my first attempt, please forgive any ignorance. So I got these two weeks ago. They were happy when I first put them in, now not so much. I’m keeping the Ph in range, however I’m having a hard time keeping the water cool, it’s about 75 degrees average in both containers. I bought a small water cooling pump, but it’s not doing much. Any suggestions, or recommendations on how to keep my water cool would be greatly appreciated.

I dont think the temperature is your problem. They might be dead . Wait for more experienced people to comment here

What nutrients are you using and how high is your water level? Are the roots touching water

    They’re not sad, they’re dead

Maybe throw in ice cubes made from pH balanced water

Black containers get really hot. You could try putting something reflective at the top like tinfoil. But honestly ur plants look like ur buckets just ran out of water.

They look like they’ve dried out. Did the water evaporate from your system?

They’re salvable, but the amount of time required for a rebound… would be faster to start over.

Are you able to post a picture of the roots?

BUT you might be a contender for WORST GROW PIC!!!

Mean no offense, you will be a better grower for this. keep at it

I know you said it’s in range but what is your PH? Do you have a way to measure leaf temp if not what is temp in tent? I really don’t think 75 degree water itself would cause this but might lead to another issue. Like other poster asked if you have a picture of roots that might help diagnose also.

If you’re having trouble controlling water temps and keeping a sterile rez use any [Bacillus Amyloliquefaciens](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bacillus_amyloliquefaciens) product like [botanicare hydroguard](https://www.botanicare.com/products/hydroguard/), [gh defguard](https://generalhydroponics.com/products/defguard/), or my fav (more concentrated = more $avings) [Triathlon BA](https://www.forestrydistributing.com/triathlon-ba-biological-fungicide-omri-listed-ohp)

My first 2 attempts ended up outside. One will give us a little. 3rd attempt coming up nicely, learned some lessons.

How are the roots looking? That’s what’s important here

You have 2 issues, one problem. They are drowned with no air in your roots.

The water level to net pot should always be 1 inch minimum of air space. Net touching water will capillary extra moisture into the root zone.

Unless you can place the top watering ring into the lower 1/3 of your pebbles, don’t use it. 101 hydro, top half of the net basket dry,…. Bottom half moist, not wet.

If you are recycling water, just run it into the bucket, not the net pot.
