My parents bought a house in Greece that has been abandoned for 15-20 years.

This plant was found there and I took something like 100 cuttings (I counted). I let them callous for a day and stuck them in dry well draining (hopefully) soil with a mix of sand and perlite.

I’ve waited 2 days to water and still haven’t watered.

When should I water?

They have no roots or growth yet.

How do I not fuck this up?

They’re indoors and out of direct sunlight (I already ruined a batch of 20 by leaving it out in the Greek sun)

Any tips / feedback welcome !

  1. General recommendation is to not water until the cutting has rooted, as without roots, the plant can’t take up any water from the soil. Some people do prefer to keep the soil slightly moist or lightly water when the soil is dry. I’d recommend keeping things dry if you’re newer to propping.

Aside from that, it’s really just a lot of patience.

Gonna call the !propagation bot for more info.
