  1. Love arbs. But the children playing in MUD IS SO MUCH FUN !!! I laughed and played in my past memories ..I am 75 years old and this brought back many memories ..thanks for sharing with us.

  2. Wow! I'm stunned by the mud holes! First what parent ever told their kids to go play in the mud? I cannot believe you thought to plan for this activity. But WHAT FUN! I want to see the clean up. Samantha would wipe her hair out of her face, so I'm guessing she had an extra layer of mud on her! You are the greatest family on Earth!

  3. You guys should consider a RC track/bike track out in the dirt lands with twists, turns and mini jumps.
You have an awesome home stead. Proud to say I’ve followed your journey for years now.

  4. Thr arbs are beautiful and so low maintenance. You got to love that, lol. The kids take the show, lol. Laura lol what fun for the kids. Si, cute their expressions on their faces .. like we get to do this. lol, I just love it.

  5. Great video. The Arbs are beautiful and the area is really evolving. The plums and strawberries look so yummy. The kids playing in the mud bring back memories of childhood and going out after a rain and making mud pies and frog houses. Fun times. Have a blessed day everyone.

  6. Was that mud bog really for the kids? lol. You are such good parents. I love seeing the children so delighted. My boys were about your children's age. We had just plowed the garden in the spring. My husband and I heard this little giggling behind us. There the two of them were, buck naked and covered from head to toe with mud. They had taken the hose and made their own mud bog in the freshly plowed garden. They were so funny we couldn't help but laugh. I hosed them down (early spring, none too warm) but they were delighted. It remains one of my best memories of them. That's what is all about, making memories. You and Aaron are so good at that with your kids. Also, I love the arbs staggered like that, it gives it such dimension!

  7. The arbs look great in that cluster by the fence! I agree more would be stunning! How many different types of Thujas do you have in your garden? Any you wouldn’t plant again?

  8. When you driving down your lane..do you marvel at all you've accomplished and how beautiful God's creation is and how He allows us to be stewards of His creation 😊

  9. I love the delphiniums, I’m 8a and they Probably won’t like my garden. It’s a great idea to have the kids doing chores. I had to pick worms off the tomatoes and gather the eggs when I was Samantha’s age. 😂😂 the mud hole,😂😂😂😂❤❤we did the same thing with our boys.

  10. Beautiful weather for a mud spa day. Lucky Samantha and Benjamin😊 BTW! The arborvitae look great. Everything is so beautiful.

  11. OMG. May be Aaron doesn’t want a plum but I am sure I speak for most of us. I would love one. I haven’t had a fresh bbl plum in year. So so jealous!😂

  12. I love the placement of the arb grouping. The lone arb needs friends! The view from the muddy puddles is lovely. I’d consider putting the pool out there, with a hot tub. Imagine twinkle lights in the tree, sitting in a hot tub watching lights in town. Peaceful

  13. Playing in the mud is great. I remember one day when I was watching my 3 year old grandson after a rainy day and the street was full of water. We ran outside and marched up and down the street splashing water all over us. We had the best time. 😂

  14. What a fun memory for your kids. They will never forget the fun times in the mud. Mine used to do that in their sandbox and now as grown adults, their sandbox mud pit is one of their fondest memories.

  16. I planted some beautiful asiatic lilies last year. My cat licked some pollen that had fallen on her fur & had a seizure. Apparently lilies are toxic to cats!

  17. Have you ever estimated how many miles you drive your property in a gator in one day? What is the circumference of the property? I enjoy random facts 🤣

  18. You asked for a mud hole and the universe delivered! Playing in the mud is a rite of passage for a kid! Question: Do you plan on shearing the straight hedges of arborvitae you have in other spaces of your garden for a more formal look? Everytime I see an English hedged in garden, I get evergreen envy! lovely video as always.
