i only have a few left standing. my little sweet crested gecko oz decided to remodel a little bit and now most of the once tall plant is now mostly trampled and flattened. what could i do to still get good
coverage in the area with less worry of her trampling it down?

(i here and see her climb up the glass and jump on one and topple it lol)

  1. i’d like something that likes to stand up or will grow taller to fill in the gap to the top

How much vertical space is there? You might be able to do an umbrella plant or Ficus microcarpa, Dracaena. Think about something with a woody stem.

Add more climbing opportunities over them and the plants are less likely to be trampled. Not entirely but it gives them more surface area to climb on without hurting the plants as they grow.

  4. Inch plants are awesome, but they’ll never stand up to being climbed on top of. Besides, it’s more of a trailing plant than a vining plant anyway, so it would have eventually bent over and started growing down all on its own.

If you want a strong vertically growing plant that will be small enough for a terrarium and do well in the humidity, consider dracaena (something like the corn plant variety), Dwarf umbrella plant, or ficus benjamina. I have all of these in a 36x18x36 tropical bioactive setup and they are doing very well
