PROSPECT HEIGHTS — A RAT TURNED the Brooklyn Botanic Garden into its personal spa on Monday, as depicted in a photo of a rodent perched on a lily pad, posted by Hellgate. Spotted by contributor Scott Heins, this urban swimmer scrubbed off last night’s “trash juice” amid the fountain’s babble, the site says.
While rodents can cool off without worry, NYC Comptroller Brad Lander urgently seeks answers as the Red Hook Pool is closed to humans due to piping issues.
