I have been trying to get rid of this vine from my property for years. The only way I have been able to thus far without killing the bushes or trees they cling to is by digging up their roots and throwing them in my burn barrel.
I have tried some poison ivy/brush killer but it doesnt work.
Does anyone know what this is and how to easily get rid of them?

Looks like a grape vine.
This is wild grape vines (*Vitus* sp.). I’m not really knowledgeable about grape taxonomy but in the NE and North Central US it is typically Fox Grapes (*Vitus labrusca)*. I don’t really have good eradication advice beyond what you’re already doing.
looks like wild grapes. You can thank the birds for spreading it. Crawl under the bush and locate where they enter the ground. Cut them off and paint shrub herbicide on the stump to kill the roots with an old paintbrush.
Muscadine grape
Yeah it’s a wild grape. Depending on where you live it could be one of a few different species. They can be very aggressive and grow very quickly. Honestly the technique you already identified of cutting the vine at the base and then digging up as much of the root mass as possible is the best. They have really deep and strong root systems though. You could also cut the cones and then apply concentrated herbicide to the stumps. Either way you’re going to be crawling around looking for the base of the vines, it sucks.
Grape vine. So here’s the thing, this vine will kill your plants, they grow fast will weigh down branches on younger trees. You can pull them but they tend to wrap around everything so it requires quite a bit of effort. Or you can try to locate the stem and cut it, once cut from the stem it’ll dry out in about a 1-2 weeks and become brittle and be easier to pull off
Looks live wild fox grape. I have this on my property along with river grape. If you border woodland or streams its very common. Its a native plant so I don’t try and eradicate it bc it also tends to reduce other actual invasives like buckthorn and mulberry.
Its pretty easy to cut back in areas I don’t want it by tracing back to the main stem (which could be 50 feet away.. If you cut a slit in main stem and paint with glysophate that works.

That app will tell you what almost every plant is. I use it as a groundskeeper, and it’s epic.
Looks like you have soul that grapes like. If these are not a desirable type of grape it may be worth pulling them and putting in grapes you want that are non invasive to the area.

I’ve been waging a battle of this stuff on my property. As everyone has said it’s grape vine, don’t know the specific type. I use crossbow. 4% I cut it, spray the crossbow on the cut stems. Rinse and repeat. Big thick vines with enough surface area I use toradon in a spray bottle.
I have some of this and it is hard to pull out. The birds love the grapes so it’s worth keeping if you can just keep it trimmed back to where you want it.
Grab it and pull it, should come off easy.
Grape vine. Unfortunately it is surpassing the Virginia Creeper as the number one weed vine. It’s worse because it will eventually produce grapes, which attract animals and make a mess. I just cut these weed vines back as far as possible.
