πŸ’šDo you have an awkward spot in the garden that needs something to smoothly transition from one area to another but you’re just not sure what?! This particular spot is shady, has no irrigation in place, and definitely needs something to m ark out that transition and guess what? I found the perfect solution – a nice little arrangement of boulders! It’s making me very happy….I hope this inspires you to think outside the greenery box next time you need something, anything to complete a vignette!

Hey, I just wanted to tell you about something. I had this awkward spot. It was a transition between the front of my garden, the side garden, and the deck. And it was just awkward and odd. And I thought of plants. I thought of a whole bunch of different things. And then I thought of boulders. And I created this. I still have to finish this particular thing. I got in beautiful boulders, some with moss on them, um that are just going to keep developing the moss because mostly it’s in the shade of this beautiful pepper tree. And I created a little vignette of boulders and a planter to kind of transition between the front and the back. And I am super happy about it. Sometimes plants are not the answer. Sometimes plants are just going to create more work than they need to. This is an awkward spot with zero irrigation. So, a plant really would have caused quite a lot of trouble. In this particular container, all succulents, I can come out and hand water. It’s going to look better when I’m totally done. But I just got the boulders in place today and I am super happy about this transition.
