We are total beginners. Worm composting. Our worms are a few weeks in.

This is part of a bell pepper that was in the fridge too long. Is this safe to give to the worms? We don't want to hurt them.

Worm love moldy stuff as it’s easier for them to eat

It’s already composting, it just needs time and friends

Composting is literally just speeding up the rotting process. Mold is a friend. Mold is a fungus, and plenty of bacteria and bugs eat that fungus. I’d be more concerned about introducing seeds to your compost pile than the Mold, and im not worried about seeds in compost…..

    Send it.

Not trying to be mean, but what do you think happens to it when it’s added to the pile?

Do it! And when the seeds sprout transfer them to a pot and boom you’ve got new houseplants lol
