Hello! My 10×14 ft greenhouse will be built in the next couple of weeks. The North side is where the house is, for reference. Is this a good plan for the greenhouse? I’ll be putting retractable sun shades on the south side walls/ceiling, because my main growing problem is sunburn in Phoenix AZ. We aren’t big veg people, but I’ve planned for the food we do eat- any recommendations or advice on this plan? (Two dots=1 foot) Thank you!!

VENTILATION!!! I’m 9a in Texas and summer is all about shade cloth and ventilation. I use a temp-controlled shutter fan to keep air moving (make sure you have adequate intake low to the ground). I also position my greenhouse to get afternoon shade. That way it warms up in the (winter) mornings but doesn’t overheat as badly year-round.

How cold do you get in winter? I’m looking into insulation on the north side of mine to better retain heat in the winter.

    Avocados need an “A” and a “B”

Will the trees be too close together for their roots? or do you plant to have them potted? In my heads seems like you would need a little more space for this.
