My plant is clearly talking to me but I don't understand what it wants.
Info:
2yo coffee plant
Leaves at the bottom are always dying as soon as new ones grow so the plant is never really growing.
For the first year I tried with a smaller pot, now bigger.
There is NO rot.
Soil is 'inerior potting mix' with a lot of perlite.
I never water too much because it's a big pot but I'm sure it gets plenty of water.
I use a hygrometer and when it's in the red I water.
Pot as drainage.
Help please 🙂

My arabica does this exact same thing. It’s almost a decade old and always loses new leaves.
Give it more light + good ventilation.
What’s its lighting situation?
I was also thinking the pot seems big for the size of the plant, maybe switching back to the smaller pot and adjusting the lighting could help.
Mine did this until I started giving it diluted nutrition solution instead of water. Now it still does it, but drops 1 leaf for every 2-3 new ones instead of 1 vs 1
Now they are even branching 🥳
Hear me out here. Chop the fucker down.
My coffee plant was a scraggly little mess until I pruned it down. Now it’s thriving. Once it has new bushy growth on top it responds well to pinch pruning too where you take the top portion of foliage off.
I’ve managed to propagate some of the stalks I’ve cut off too but some have failed.
