I just commented on a post about how my northeast Florida yard has many trees that will often lose branches during storms – usually covered with resurrection ferns and air plants. This little branch fell recently with dozens of air plants and Spanish moss hanging from it. I’ve lived here for nearly all of my 50 years, and while I’ve always liked air plants, I never considered keeping them as plants until recently, since y’all are all doing it and they’re free here. I’ve been collecting as I find them for months now and probably have around 30 (we only have a couple different types around here) and I don’t really know what to do with them yet. I m have some urchin and other types of shells to hang them from, but how? Just from the ceiling, I guess? Do y’all do anything to keep them in place?

(The title is a De La Soul reference for my Gen X’ers)
