First time growing sunflowers here, got a couple growing & one of them is rather large with what seems to me an odd shaped head. It almost wraps around itself! I've only ever seen flat heads on sunflowers so this looks very weird to me. I this a common thing? Can someone explain to me why this has happened? All I've done is planted it, watered it once or twice & left it to its own devices.

This sunflower is clearly evolving into a triffid.
