Ever wondered what it really costs to renovate a front yard? In this Monterey County project, we break down the numbers step by step, from paver steps and stone veneer walls to city-permitted sidewalks, custom fencing, and premium pet turf.

Every detail matters: permits, labor, materials, and craftsmanship. By sharing real numbers, we help homeowners understand what goes into creating outdoor spaces that last.

This project included:

✔︎Paver entrance steps & stone veneer wall – $8,500

✔︎Concrete sidewalk + city-required ramp – $7,500

✔︎Horizontal redwood fencing with 4 gates – $14,000

✔︎Premium pet turf installation – $16,000

At Third Heaven Landscape, we believe in transparency and trust. No gimmicks, just real projects and real results.

Total cost to renovate these nice front entrance steps, get rid of the bricks and put pavers, $5,800, including labor and materials. The total cost to cover this wall with veneer stone and rough cut, natural stone cap, was $8,500. And the total cost for the sidewalk concrete, including demolition, city permits, city problems that they give you when you going to be doing sidewalk projects, that was $7,500, including this ramp that they made us do. And for the fence, we have $14,000. It’s an horizontal fencing using 1x six fence boards and these 1x six vertical to cover the union so we don’t see where the boards meet. And then at the at the top we have a 2×6 redwood as well. We can’t forget about the four gates that we have. One in here, another one right in here. The third one right in here. My favorite of the project is this little gate. And for the pet turf, we have $16,000 included this section, this little nice strip, this little nice area inside our fencing that included everything, materials and labor. Here.
