Barrow Social prescribing link worker Zoe McGerty said: “This garden has been a labour of love, built not just with tools and soil, but with generosity, teamwork, and a shared belief in the power of community.
“It simply wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible support we’ve received along the way.”

Zoe added: “And of course, to our wonderful volunteers, thank you from the bottom of our hearts – you’ve shown up, week after week, rain or shine, with open hands and open hearts.
“This garden is a reflection of what happens when people come together with a shared purpose – to make something meaningful, for everyone.
“It’s more than a patch of land; it’s a place of growth, healing, and hope.”
