because I got sort of curious about what the current state of my actually intentionally planted carrots are um in my last video you’ll notice that I pulled out a an accidental carrot and that soil wasn’t necessarily meant for carrots but I have this other litter box or I should say kitty litter pale that we’ve used and set up months ago and now I’m ready to pull at least one of the carrots just to see where they’re at so come along let’s do this all right here we are at the site of where I have my current which is right next to my AC compressor but if we look down in here see what we got poking through little bitty tiny orange thing yep there’s our carrots good boy dead center look at that can’t argue with that nice and straight just like I said they would let’s take a peek in here too i don’t see as many but there are a few like that one right there we’re going to take that one ready pop it out oh that’s a disappointment let’s try one more there we go that’s better i don’t think it’s ready yet but again nice and straight finally here in this last bucket I really don’t want to mess with these too much but since these are the ones that didn’t really take too easily when it came to sprouting they should be bigger and which they are but I’m not going to pull them just yet the one I will pull right here has obviously been nibbled on by rabbits or something so we’re going to go ahead and pull this one see what it looks like that’s what I’m talking about see although my method may be a little bit weird you set up these kitty litter container boxes just right is exactly what you can expect nice straight carrots

  1. Hey Will! My husband is a HVAC tech and he says don't surround your outside unit with planters , it needs air flow. I used to do it and he would get upset lol. Just a tip from a friend! I forgot to plant carrots this year! Think I'll sew some soon In my new raised bed. We got rabbits out here bad. Also starting lettuce and fall crops soon. Man those carrots looked nice mine are always crooked lol

  2. For growing carrots I would use regular, organic agricultural planting soil mixed with some food-growing-grade sand. I think carrots like soil a bit sandy.
