We use dichondra argentea in my yard as a groundcover. It flourishes beneath the oak tree despite allegedly needing more sun. I was wondering, would it be possible to use some as a groundcover in a terrarium? It's been beneath the tree for 3-4 years now and is growing and sending up new shoots all the time. It seems tough, cool looking, and is an all around neat plant. Maybe if i put it with something robust like a fittonia or pepperomia?

I would try it because it’s unique and plentiful. The only drawback I can think of is that it is a perennial that could go dormant.
It just might be the plant that sets your terrarium off.
