This thing is 3 years old and has always thrived in my office. It’s been 2 months now with my haworthia looking like this. Is it dead?

No, no, just clean it up and I’d repot to give it fresh soil and get a look at the roots to make sure they are all still healthy.

It looks very recoverable. Now, I may be off base here…but looking at the leaves makes me think it is under-watered

  3. Mine looks similar (though I’ve peeled all of the dead-ish leaves off). I only have one section left. I had it sitting on soil/perlite for a couple months. There is literally a tiny (but thick?) root starting to grow just this week – I look at that sucker constantly and this is the first time I’ve seen anything, so I’m at least a little hopeful for mine. I’m very hopeful for yours if you kept it 3 years already!

My coworker drowned mine too, but I’m my coworker.

ela se recupera fácil. Essas plantas são muito fortes. Apenas deixa em um lugar que não tenha um desgaste muito alto por sol. tomar pouco sol vai ajudar a recuperar.. e vai observado.

It literally depends on how bad the roots are and how far up the rot goes. If there is still a root crown or if there is still sufficient stem remaining you can probably save it, but if the rot goes all the way up to the bottom of the lower most leaves it’s unlikely you will be able to save it.

It’s literally thirsty, outer leaves curling in
