okay I’m on a mission going shopping and going to try to find a Suri Bachi i think that’s Sudi Bachi bowl that’s one of those Japanese grading bowls uh to do daon and Japanese yam and uh wasabi rude and lots of things so excited to try to find that i’m going to pick up some groceries here and there get a bamboo rake for the yard a strainer basket i don’t know i just have lots of things I’m going to look for so wish me luck here I go such a quiet peaceful neighborhood it’s lunchtime people are everywhere but everyone’s so quiet even the cars are quiet [Music] [Music] [Music] what are you doing [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] success but I’m pooped poop poop poop got a rake thingy i got a brush thing to clean the um Oh I’m so tired to clean the cement and the tile in the front I got Let me show you what I got let me show you what I got okay I thought I would just show you what I got as I take it out of the bag all right so I got this little rake thing because we have uh artificial grass and so um there’s twigs and leaves and stuff that get on it so I have to try to rake it and you have to be careful so got that and then this little broom for um horse brittleles uh bristles to like the cement tiles and grout try to get that clean and then fun funi can’t remember the name now the bowl I was going to I was going to look for so this is so exciting i can’t wait to use it it is this [Music] awesome gaki i can’t remember now but it’s beautiful and it has these if you can see it’s got all these like the texture in the bottom and so what you do is you take your wooden uh mortar thing and you put your thing in there or you take your um yam and you scrape it on there and it like turns into this paste stuff and you can do tong you can do real wasabi yeah there’s lots of things and you can do sesame uh seeds and make sesame powder or paste whatever very excited to use this very excited and I bought the broom and the rake and this from and a bucket from a sweet grandpa who runs this little local shop down by the train station he’s super sweet and I was like and he spoke a little bit of English but he you know wanted to make sure I knew what the bowl was and I did that’s what I was looking for but it was sweet of him to like Yeah and he was so grateful every time I picked something up and I like gave it to him to add to my to my order he was like “Oh thank you.” He was so grateful and makes me want to go back there so he had lots of good things all right so that was that and then Let’s see oh I went to the Okay store which is the discount grocery store that’s the best and has the cheapest prices and the best selection maybe not the best selection but the cheapest prices that we found and I got refill bags so [Music] Japan tries to discourage getting a new plastic bottle of like a dispenser and things so um so I have my I have Okay and I have my This is my dish detergent for hand washing my dishes i just squirt it and in the bowl and make my dishwash water and stuff and then instead of buying more of these hard plastic bottles they sell these ginormous uh discounted uh refill bags with a little spout so they sell these for your dishwashing detergent your laundry detergent your hand soap your shampoo conditioner anything any kind of cleaner any kind of like beauty product that’s like a big bulk thing they have refill bags for it and it’s usually a lot cheaper so yeah so this is for the dish detergent and this is for the shower cleaner i love love love it and then Min but this Min is not like the one in Hawaii it’s more Yeah it’s not as sweet the one in Hawaii that I use in all my recipes in Hawaii sorry that probably is loud uh the Marin that I used in Hawaii was actually not legitimate merin apparently um it was more sweet and thick and this is more thin and more vinegary like a cooking sauté kind of a thing so anyway there’s that i needed some recipes so I went and got some and then even though I went grocery shopping last night [Music] [Music] I stopped at a AP and they had all these veggies on sale and I couldn’t resist this just picking off this is cilantro already taken off of the thing and this is the I don’t know what they’re called the green little sushi leaves i love these things they’re so yummy and then some mushrooms and then the Japanese yam that I’m going to use later and I’m gonna make a dish called soba and it’s Japanese yam and you like do this and it gets really slimy and gooey kind of like natto if you know what natto is sorry i know you guys are probably really loud sorry um but yeah it’s supposed to be super good for you lots of fiber lots of really yumminess and they make it for Kevin to eat i don’t know if I can handle the sliminess but you can also chop it up and steam it and do different things so yeah I’m going to experiment with that so that’s fun and then these over all right so next stop by Daiso and got some fun things got this little pointy bristley little cleaner brush cuz there’s lots of lots of uh sliding glass door railing and window railing and um I need to get in those little crevices get the gunk and the dirt out and I got some boba straws because I like to use those i know plastic and straws sorry but I I know I should be reducing my plastic consumption i’m sorry but I really love these straws and I make a smoothie like a protein smoothie in the mornings sometimes and I really enjoy having the big straw so yeah there’s that um And then here’s a little scrubber thing that you can screw it onto a water bottle and put like your cleaning solution or whatever and you can just like and have and squirt the liquid cleaner or whatever you want put soap in there in a bottle I guess too show you bottle just a cheap one that you know we needed one because we were using this big honken like jar and then wasabi but I hope to eventually make a homemade wasabi because I saw in a store the wasabi root and I looked up how to do it and all the information and apparently when you like do it in my little bowl uh grater bowl then it’s only good for like 30 minutes so you got to eat it right away but it’s super good and fresh so got that and then I got a couple of under the shelf um little racks because I have really deep shelves and really tall shelves and yeah I need I need to maximize the space a little bit more to get a little organized but I’m not organized everything is just still blah i got that and then this little toothpaste um thing is so cool i had it in white i got another one for my toothpaste and then I’m going to do one for Kevin’s toothpaste and you just put the put the bottom of your toothpaste um tube and you twist and it squeezes it down and then it just it hangs on a little hook and it’s just so organized just simple super cheap and then my colander you strain things with this i’m so excited been wanting one this one is from Daiso so I don’t know if it will last that long but I did see some incredible ones at the little shop at little grandpa’s shop that um where I got my other goodies and he was so appreciative and his stuff is really well made and it’s super cheap so I’m excited to continue to visit him and he was super kind and yeah I’m excited to go back and see what other treasures I can find and help support him so that is my haul for today i think that’s it but sad thing at some point I think it was after I went to Appeta and got the veggies and paid no it was after I picked up these things i put my glasses here because I have a hat on and I can’t just put it up above my head and I must have dropped them they must have dropped somewhere because I can’t find them anywhere so I’ve lost my best pair of reading glasses that weren’t scratched and janky but that’s okay because I’ve heard that there’s inexpensive and really great ones here so I’ll try to have to adventure and find them all right that’s the haul for today and my adventure and maybe stay tuned you may get to see me use that little bowl thing and make to soba we’ll see i’m going to have some water and take a rest because I’m hooked that was that was exhausting i mean I don’t know why I’m so tired anyway uh lots of Google Translate lots of bowing and saying bumping into people with my big backpack because I wanted to be able to carry everything so I took my big backpack and then I ended up my big backpack and then two bags and then carried the brim and the thing i’m so excited about this i’m so excited i don’t know the little things so sweet i like So I wonder if he made this little broom thing no he didn’t it’s made in China oh well but it’s okay cuz it’s really well made and looks like it’ll last me and it will serve my purpose i’m going to actually after my rest I’m actually going to go and clean some of the um uh the owner of our home i met this is a random side story but uh I got to meet our the owner of the home’s wife and she was next door tending to the garden and the the yard next door to the property they own next door too and the owner has been very ill and in the hospital so um very sad about that so and she’s seemed very sad and I yeah I wanted to encourage her and help her so I’m going to try to secretly do some of the yard work over there which isn’t a lot i’m not going to pull weeds because I don’t know what’s weeds and what’s flowers because some things I thought were weeds are now beautifully blooming flowers so I do not want to mess that up but I can rake fallen leaves and straw and things like that so I will be doing that okay [Music] actually decided before I take a rest I’m going to go to the comb beanie which is basically at the end of our driveway and get a treat and reward myself for a great day of shopping for stuff before I rest and then get to cooking i’m back from the comini i feel so bad there was a grandma and a grandpa behind me and I forgot all the cominis are different i forgot that you serve yourself your chicken so I was going to get a spicy chicken and at Family Mart and 7-Eleven and everywhere else you ask them for what you want and they get it for you but at the losses or at least this one you get it yourself and so I held up the line because he had to go get me my chicken and he did not look happy it and so I saw myself to the nice lady and gentleman behind me i felt bad so oh well but I got my chicken and I got my Coke Plus if you saw the video that I posted previously you will know all about Coke Plus not the best for me and then I got the little sweet treat so okay bye

  2. for as technology smart they are over there you would think they would have a drain system in tub that would separate dirty and clean water so you could shower in tub
