Where the hell do I even start? This is my first home and I’m completely new to lawn care. I’ve been trying to do it on my own for a few months but trying to identify the 18 different weeds and their specific pesticides, when I can actually treat them, etc has been overwhelming.
My goals:
1. Kill and remove as many invasive weeds as I can, but especially the ones that grow tall quickly (less than one week).
2. Have a yard that doesn’t require regular watering, as sustainability and water conservation in Central TX is important to me. I can hand water once or twice a week with local water regulations.
3. Have a yard that is safe for my dog to play in (dog tax included)🤍
Appreciate any and all advice! I do have some budget to bring in the big dogs (professionals) if necessary, but I’d love to do it on my own and actually learn how to preserve it.
