Google thinks the plant in the image is Amaranth, specifically a red-leafed variety.
Not sure I see any grain there.

It’s a very cool plant with many varieties being cultivated in central and South America by Inca and Aztecs (and many other cultures I’m sure). The leaves are edible and the flowers can be made into a grain—some super red varieties are used as a dye. I tried growing a type called “Joseph’s coat” but they need a lot of sun to get big. I see it as a really beautiful and ancient crop with tons of uses
