Hi guys, this is my first go at doing a moss wall vivarium! All there is in there now is isopods (dairy cows and tropical orange). Very spoilt ones as well! 🤣 I had all these plants in my pacman frog vivarium. Parlour palm was too tall, and I moved the fittonia just because. He's got pothos and baby tears now.

I made the goo with just the clay powder stuff and chemical and peat free topsoil with some spring water. The texture seemed right so I'm just praying to God it sticks and I don't hear the thud of sludge falling off the walls in the night 😂😭

I used:

Hypnos/carpet moss for the whole background
Two cuttings of Ficus pumila
A parlour palm
A mossy branch I bought off Etsy
A nice fittonia/nerve plant looking thing idk
Baby tears

I only took two photos of the process though bc I was texting lmao

I'm thinking a tailless whip scorpion or something for this. I want something long lived that won't breed like mad 😂😂😂😂 but I might be getting ahead of myself. Let's just see it hold up first. I'm just excited about my vivarium guys 🤣 I hope you all like it too!

    B. I thought it was 12x12x18 FEET, and I got really excited to see this room sized Vivarium someone had constructed.

That looks great! So was the Moss dry? It looks like it was in the first picture. Like where did you get it from? Because it seems like it’s all nice green and growing now!

Beautiful!! How did you create the backdrop?

Thanks for including the materials! I’m trying to get a terrarium of my own started and something like this is what I was dreaming of. Gorgeous work, I’d be happy to make something half as luscious.
