I think the entry from wikipedia shows why it is not really available:

    > The plant is native to Guadalupe Island. This species is extremely rare in cultivation, due to its tendency to rot in summer dormancy and its remote island location.

So I think unless you can replicate its environment from that remote island really well, cultivating it is nearly impossible from the sounds of it.

You may have to track down a source for seed if it’s that rare. Your best bet may be Japan or Thailand. They’re nuts for unusual plants, and are willing to fuss around with finicky species.

This shop posted some (presumably for sale) in 2020. It is not on their etsy shop. May be worth asking if they can/how you would source it.

There are also various past reddit posts with personal collection photos so you could also try DMing some of them.

Here is a listing that is out of stock (could message the company to inquire): https://www.rarepalmseeds.com/cistanthe-guadalupensis

Here is one for sale on FB from last year. Comment said best offer was $300:

This site sold seeds of it in the past, so could inquire, but it has been years seemingly:

Based on other comments, if you do manage to buy one then I highly recommend exhaustive research of how to care for it. Might be a challenge but it can surely be done with the right setup.
