Carrots should be ready for harvest about 60-80 days after sowing seeds, depending on the variety. The tops of the carrot roots will be about 3/4 to 1 inch in diameter and likely starting to pop out of the soil, though not necessarily. They will also be vibrant in color.

Carrot seeds can be sown from early spring right through to late August and can be harvested almost all year round. Most varieties are sown outdoors between April and July.

getting some fresh carrots for my pet pig they are not fully uh ready yet normally you want to make sure your carrots it’s coming above the soil at least an inch so you could see the carrots that’s when it’s normally ready but these are you can see the stems are are much thicker you could also prune your carrots trim out some of them to get more air flow and more better production but these are pretty good for my pet pig make sure you have loose soil you could grow carrots early spring early early fall they uh will survive in a cooler temperature
