I planted a mixed fescue and clover lawn this spring, but wild knotroot foxtail is taking over. I’m not against having foxtail in my fields, but the darn stuff grows about 2 feet/week and I don’t really want it in my lawn.

Will the clover be able to out-compete it? My previous clover plantings did take about a year to fully establish so I’m holding out hope.

    Hi !

I would have sown pure clover seeds.

Clover will grow better when weather is cooler and wetter in Autumn.
