If you are a fan of animals and wildlife like me, then you do not want to miss the chance to learn how to make your garden area more wildlife-friendly. The Bowie County Master Gardeners seminar series is back, and in August, they’ll talk about ‘Gardening For Wildlife’.

Why Attend the Texarkana Event? Benefits for You and Local Wildlife

This event is free and open to the public! So, mark your calendar for Monday evening, August 11. Speaking will be Penny Wilderson, a wildlife biologist with the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department and she works in Bowie County. She will share some great tips on how you can make your outdoor space, no matter how small, more inviting to our native wildlife.

Whether you have a big backyard or just a small porch, you’ll learn how to help the wildlife in your neighborhood. This is also a great chance to meet fellow gardeners and wildlife lovers while learning how to help our ecosystem thrive.
