Herts & Essex Boundary Flower Club members will be showing off their skills with a show titled A Summer Tea Party.

Over 30 exhibits are expected on Tuesday, August 4, with four classes: Green Tea (all foliage), Storm in a Teacup (petite), Mad Hatter’s Tea Party (floral foam free) and Rosey Lea (staged on a frame).

There will be awards for best in show, best use of colour, best small-scale exhibit and best use of garden plant material.

The club, which was founded 66 years ago and is affiliated with the National Association of Flower Arrangement Societies, welcomes visitors for the meeting and show. Entry costs £10 and includes refreshments.

The meeting takes place in Manuden Community Centre, David Collins Drive, from 6pm.
