The goal is to cardboard and mulch to create a "blank canvas" to then plant succulents and native wildflowers. Some legacy stuff (non-natives) will remain.
I'm planning on building at least one mound/brim that will be loaded with wildflowers. And will also have a raised bed vegetable garden.

Check out epic gardens on YouTube. They are based in your area (or at least the plant zone) I have no recommendations as I live in the north east. Looks great so far!
