For context, I’ve had this terrarium for about 2 years and never had issues (unlike my others in a cycle of preventing and fixing pest issues). About 2 months ago we did some renovations and had to turn the filter, mister, fan and light off for 2 weeks. When I turned it back on, I noticed some leaf decay so I added isopods and springtails. A couple of days ago I noticed this strange white powder that’s spread across the aquarium soil and has so far been resistant to water, hydrogen peroxide, isopods and springtails. Doesn’t seem to be killing anything but I’m concerned about inhaling it when the mister or fan is going. It’s quite hard to pick up on camera but appears light greyish. Any ideas??

Im not sure but looks like some sort of slime mold or mold. An increase in air movement might help more than anything, possibly mechanical removal and some fresh top soil. Im just guessing here
